WordPress setup usiing cPanel at any reliable webhost is so easy to do.

Use a new domain just for your blog (c’mon, what’s 10 bucks per year anyway!), or use a new folder in an existing domain that you own (yourdomain.com/blog, for example), go to cPanel and Fantastico, and select WordPress. In only minutes your blog is installed and ready for tweaking the setup to your liking.

Suggestion: While you have the option to have your setup information emailed to you at the end of the installation (I strongly suggest you use this option), open Notepad during the setup and save your various entered details (admin username, password, etc.). Save that file to a folder in your My Documents called “Registrations” so you can access it later if need be.

Setting up PresellPro is a breeze if you follow Dustin really easy to understand video tutorials. He makes it so easy you will feel guilty about accepting this for free LOL.

Thanks, Jim. And you’re right. It’s super easy and well worth it to set up a new domain.

i already have my own domain name can i use that

        • Dustin Struckman November 29, 2010 at 9:15 pm #

Yes, of course. As long as you can get WordPress installed on it, you’re fine. Sometimes it’s easier to just use the 1-click install on a new domain, but if you know what you’re doing, then go for it!

At the moment, you will need to have a WordPress blog to use this service, but it’s super easy to get a new one going. Just follow the video above and you can have brand new domain with WordPress installed in under 5 minutes.

      • edison September 7, 2010 at 9:21 am #

Just asking…I open a new domain name and i followed your instruction in the video but when I updated the account, I got an error message saying blog not found. How’s this so? Where did I go wrong? Thanks! I am already excited to see my blog. By the way, I purchased atomic blogging and I am thinking it would be nice to incorporate PresellPro and the themes of atomic blogging, would it be possible? Sorry, I am a newbie.

        • Dustin Struckman September 16, 2010 at 6:09 pm #

Yes, you can use any themes you want on your blog. And most likely what happened with your setup is that it was a new domain, so the DNS just hadn’t “propagated” yet. Since it’s taken me a while to get back to you, I’m sure everything is running smoothly now. But for anyone else reading this, sometimes it takes up to 48 hours for a new domain to actually show up on the internet…

  3. melody September 8, 2010 at 12:29 am #

Hi there Dustin, I am having trouble understanding the WordPress, is there a more simple way, please help, Warmly, Melody

    • Dustin Struckman September 16, 2010 at 6:08 pm #

      Hi Melody,

The best thing to do is just follow along with the video above. WordPress is a system that creates a blog for you and then PresellPro automatically posts content to it. The advantage of using Host Gator is that they have a 1-click installation (shown in the video) that sets WordPress up automatically.

I know it’s a lot of information to absorb, but if you just follow along and click where I show you in the video, you don’t really need to understand how the back-end works.

Do you have any recommendations for the domain name we choose or it doesn’t matter?

    • Dustin Struckman September 16, 2010 at 6:15 pm #

When you pick a domain name here are a few things to consider:

      1. Try to include some keywords that relate to internet marketing like: internet marketing, online marketing, affiliate marketing, make money, etc

      2. Don’t use hyphens like: my-awesome-blog.com. This will not not be good for SEO.

      3. Try to keep it short. Max of 5 words. Max of 30 characters. For example, although this has keywords in it, it’s a bad domain: internetmarketingonlinemarketingaffiliatemarketing.com

      4. Use .com only. It’s more professional and makes it easier to sell if you ever choose to.

      5. Don’t worry too much about it. :) In the end, you can brand anything like: Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc

    Hi Dustin,

Do I need a website to host presellpro? Or will presellpro host my blog? If yes, then I only need to get a domain. From the video, I saw that it will cost $15 per year to rent a domain from Hostgator. Can I get domain from other companies like Namecheap, etc? I understand that Hostgator provide free domain when a person sign up for hosting.

    • Dustin Struckman October 8, 2010 at 12:13 am #

Yes, you need your own domain. You can feel free to get it anywhere – you’ll just need to change the DNS to point to HostGator after you sign up. I’d suggest simply getting the domain from them if you don’t already have it, because it’s much easier. And if you use the “presellpro” coupon code you save an addition $9.95, anyway. :)

  6. James October 10, 2010 at 9:12 pm #

I signed up for presellpro and I see that it is a great program with many features. Do you need to get a domain name if you signed up for a free blog from WordPress.com?

Can your product be used with the free WordPress offered from WordPress?

Please give me some input about starting a new domain or just going with the free one. Thanks for your program and your input.

    • Dustin Struckman October 21, 2010 at 8:54 pm #

      Hi James,

It won’t work with a managed blog like the one from WordPress.com, because they don’t give you the permissions you need for us to post to your blog. You need to get your own domain and install WordPress on that domain. You can download the scripts from WordPress.org, or you can sign up with HostGator and use their one-click WP installation.

  7. Robert Smith October 12, 2010 at 8:15 pm #

Hey, I am from South Africa, I have a Free Blog with gmail, will that work?
I would realy like to do this but do not hav that kind of money now, is that the only way i can follow the Presell pro system?

    Kind Regard Yolandie

    • Dustin Struckman November 10, 2010 at 6:23 pm #

      Hi Yolandie,

Sorry, but you’ll need to have WordPress installed on your own domain and free blogs don’t make this possible. I’d suggest using the coupon above and getting your own domain. You need your own domain to be professional online, anyway. ;-)

  12. awang noh ahmad November 11, 2010 at 12:07 am #

hi,i would like to know how is it possible to get buyers to buy my products when presell pro will be doing the article but without my affiliate link??
    thank you.
    (i’m a newbie)

    • Dustin Struckman November 23, 2010 at 2:58 am #

      Hi Shaz,

Your articles are coded to you, so the links don’t need to be. There’s a more detailed explanation in the Support FAQs.

  17. Penny December 17, 2010 at 5:01 pm #

Hey, this looks super cool – but I am wondering – you dont say what type of presell we are doing…! I have tons of blogs so WP is a simple task for me, but what can we presell with this system. If I were to have a weight loss blog in mind, could I do that with this system – or is it strictly the IM niche?

    Penny

    • Dustin Struckman December 17, 2010 at 7:37 pm #

      Hi Penny,

Right now, the articles are preselling IM niche related products.

  18. Leon December 17, 2010 at 7:31 pm #

    Hi Dustin

    Thanks for this free stuff
However I’m not 100% sure if/how I can use this for my own site firstwebdevelopment dot com which is not internet marketing per se but a website design service which i would really like to promote.
Not sure if I understand this whole concept and if you have articles that can help my website.

    Thanks

    Leon

    • Dustin Struckman December 17, 2010 at 7:37 pm #

      Hey Leon,

Yes, you definitely want to have the articles posting to an iM-niche related blog. So, just follow the video above and get a new domain set up for this.

  19. Darren December 17, 2010 at 10:21 pm #

    Hi,

I have recently setup a WP blog on the domain thenetworkinguy.com will this be ok to use also do I need to do anything with the wp template as it just the 1 that was setup at the time and it isnt that good to be honest.
    Many thanks for doing this

    Cheers

    Darren

    • Dustin Struckman December 30, 2010 at 12:28 am #

      Hey Darren,

First of all, you’re welcome! :)

Second, if you think the internet marketing articles make sense with your existing blog, then run the service there. No problem. Otherwise, just follow along on the video above.

And finally, yes! The default theme is not good. You’ll find lots of recommendations in the Training section of the Members area. I think it’s in Module 3 – Optimizer Pro where I talk about themes.

  20. Leon December 19, 2010 at 8:40 am #

    Hi Dustin
Thanks for the reply. You said: “you definitely want to have the articles posting to an iM-niche related blog” Do you consider http://www.firstwebdevelopment.com/ IM-niche related?
This blog won’t help me if it’s completely detached from my site. Or can I put a link on my blog to my site? I saw your special offer and would consider it if I knew how this could help my site too besides ‘working’ on it’s own.
    Thanks

    Leon

  21. Sam December 22, 2010 at 7:24 pm #

Will this not work for blogger?

    • Dustin Struckman December 30, 2010 at 12:18 am #

Correct. You need a WordPress blog running on your own domain. Watch the video above – it’s easy to get set up.
